The rules

HODL Games values fair and enjoyable play within all our games and platforms.

The following rules apply to all games published by HODL Games. By participating in our games, you automatically agree to these rules.

ℹ️ Inappropriate Behavior

Keep private life and game separate.
No extreme profanity, swearing, or obscenities.
No trolling, exhibiting negative behavior, or spamming.
No harassment, bullying, blackmailing, or threats.
Follow our rules and advice.
Chat in Dutch or English.

🗣️ Language and Communication

YouTube videos are okay as long as they follow our rules.
No racist, discriminatory, or inappropriate terms in profiles or names.
No pornographic links or images.

🐀 Cheating

No fake email addresses.
No scripts, bots, phishing, etc.
No attacking our servers.
Report bugs, don't abuse them.
No exploiting system flaws.
No generating fake referrals.

👤 Account

One account per person.
Do not share your account.
Do not attempt to log in to someone else's account.
Do not sell or give away your account.
Report shared IPs through settings or to support.
Players on the same IP cannot trade on the Marketplace.
Verification may be requested.

For each game, specific information is available in the help section regarding what is allowed or not allowed when playing on the same IP address or in the same household.

❌ Account Selling and Cancellation

Do not sell your account.
Do not offer in-game items for real money.
No refunds for suspension due to rule violations.
Unused diamonds and items expire upon banning.

🌐 Use of (Web) Proxies or VPNs

No (web) proxies to hide your IP.
No VPN usage; the game publisher must be able to see your real IP.

⚠️ Violations

In case of violations of the game rules or our code of conduct on a HODL Games game or platform, appropriate penalties will be imposed according to our violation policy.

In addition to these rules, the code of conduct also applies. We encourage all players to read both the rules and the code of conduct to gain a clear understanding of our commitment to a safe and enjoyable gaming community.

⚠️ Protecting Privacy

On HODL Games platforms, we expect all players to respect each other's privacy and exhibit responsible behavior. Posting messages and photos that infringe on the privacy of other members, including sharing specific locations or personal characteristics, is strictly prohibited.

Note: Failure to adhere to this guideline may result in disciplinary measures, such as a three-month ban. We emphasize the importance of protecting the privacy of all our users and request responsible behavior when sharing information on our platform.

🚫 Permanent Exclusion

In rare cases, HODL Games reserves the right to immediately permanently exclude an account from participation if we believe a player is not playing the game for enjoyment but to spread hate or engage in other inappropriate activities, such as spreading spam or scams.

🗑️ Not logging in for 3 months may lead to account removal; serious violations can cause immediate removal.

ℹ️ The rules can be changed at any time, and users will be notified through a general message in all games.
